Review from someone that played with two hands:
I saw this game by coincidence and decided to give it a fair chance. This is a gacha auto idler game like Azur Lane for example where you make units stronger and advance to the next level. It has a solid baseline but it has a few issues. I'm gonna talk about what I liked first.
Pros:
1. Auto progression: Is mostly an idle game so you can have it running in the background while doing something else.
2. Character design: There is one for everyone.
3. +18 toggle: You can enable or disable +18 at any time. It comes disabled by default. If you want to enable it, from the main menu go to: Duties button (the one with the open book icon in the rows of buttons in the bottom right), Look at the bottom left corner and there is a button saying "download", click it and select R18. The app will restart.
Cons:
1. Clunky UI: The game is half Chinese half English. There are many things and icons not translated and they don't even fit in the UI elements.
2. Rough translation: On top of the previous point, the thing that are translated feel like they used Google translator so most of the time the text and story is rrslly hard to comprehend which makes it not worth reading.
3. Half baked in some areas: Things like characters animations and skins are very detailed and carefully made, everything else however feel like is just functional at best. The buttons don't have any kind of feedback or feeling when pressing them. You have Many loading screens. Transitions are pretty bad too. Is hard to navigate the menu due to language barrier and all the previous points mentioned, etc.
4. Combat: I said is an idle game so the combat shouldn't matter right? Wrong. When the combat gets hard you have to play manually and is just running around until the enemy dies. If that's sounds fun to you then cool but not for me.
5. R18 Scenes: This is how you unlock them: Some characters can have the scenes unlocked via doing the main story quest. Once you complete a chapter you unlock the possibility to unlock the scene. To actually unlock the scene you need to use a currency that can be bought with either blue diamonds (f2p currency) or shining diamond (paid currency). For other characters you need to upgrade the unit to 9 stars. To get more stars of a character you need multiple copies, at least 4 of them if I'm not mistaken. Other characters have skins that come with a scene. The skins can be bought in the shop.
Overall I don't want to call this a gacha slop since the character design are full of detail as I said but everything else is obviously slop to sell you the waifus. My recommendation would be to play Brown dust 2 instead.
I'm gonna give this game a 4/10 on its current state. If they fix everything then is a 7/10 idle game.
Thanks for reading.
So, I am playing this as a f2p, haven't spent a dime.
The gameplay is alright, essentially vampire survivors but with anime waifus, and those waifus determine your skills and all have their own health bars, so if she dies she stops casting skills. You can level them up, improve stats other ways, star up your units, equip gear, yada yada yada basic idle game stuff. Regular level waves are kinda boring and monotonous, the bosses are sorta fun actually, some require actual brainpower to beat. Sometimes you do just need to level up your characters to better tank damage. You will run into some bottlenecks along the way, as with any gacha.
As for UI, it is a bit cramped a bit, but not too bad. My main issue is, as if you can claim something, but theres nothing to claim most of the time. Probably something like trying to get me to buy the premium passes, idk. Theres at least like 5 different dots trying to get me to tap, but no reward to claim. Not a deal breaker itself, slightly annoying but I can live with it. Can be a bother sometimes though. Layout takes getting used to, things aren't too hidden so you can find all the important stuff pretty easily I think.
Art wise it's pretty solid, even the weaker (imo) designs I can see appeal in. There is also a surprising amount of safe art that isn't nsfw but still high quality (they do have their nsfw illusts/scenes though) and the uncensored stuff is decent, personally not goon material for me, but it's good quality. Personally I play just to collect characters, so it does kinda scratch that itch. Characters are very lovely and nice to look at I think. Most of your good quality illustrations are gonna be from the skin shop. You buy them with a currency which is macarons. They are a little rare, and expensive in the paid shop, but you do get about like 30 of them to start out with so you can pick a few nice skins that you like.
Solid enough game, not a main for me, but I like to check on it from time to time.
Key issues raised:
Low-quality assets: Some character designs and animations appear AI-generated or unpolished.
UI/UX frustration: Inconsistent menus, broken English, cluttered interfaces, and buggy navigation flow.
Gameplay lacks depth: Compared repeatedly to Vampire Survivors, except seen as weak, overly grindy, or automated—often making manual control pointless.
Predatory monetization: Heavy paywalls, scarce free resources, and microtransactions that feel exploitative.
Underwhelming story: Little narrative depth or character development beyond fanservice.
Audio quality: Generally unremarkable; some sound effects are criticized for being overly loud or off.
Aspect Brief Thoughts
Art & Animation: Visually styled for anime fans but reportedly inconsistent and potentially AI-generated.
Gameplay: Roguelike + idle mechanics—functional but considered shallow and sketchy.
UI/UX: Not user-friendly—buggy, cluttered, and poorly localized.
Monetization: Aggressive and pay-to-progress; may require significant time or money.
Story & Characters: Minimal substance; heavy on fanservice, low on narrative.
Overall Value: Might appeal to specific niche of idle/erotic roguelike fans—but generally feels undercooked.
as a h-game player that dont goon to the games i actually play, i could say this is actually pretty good.
graphics: they're all good, either 15 or 18+ version, although despite being supposedly in the 15 rating version, Sakura's 30-cost skin could still be rated 18+ in most contexts. i understand the use of AI in their character generation cause they still look good nonetheless due to the sheer amount of h anime images with good quality they could use to maintain the gane graphics quality.
sound: it's all pretty good but idk what i was expecting so i was a bit offput with Sakura's voice choice but the rest of them was good enough of a match for me.
gameplay: i read a comment that said it was like azur lane but for me, it felt more like holocure and that game genre in general except the leveling and skill acquirement is put in the idle and gacha aspect of the game respectively. i really enjoy these types of games but this gets 1 point less for me cause of the amount of gacha you would need to do to reach endgame. 32 copies of Sakura for me feels too much, but thankfully it seems achievable even as f2p given enough time or luck.
value: as for the overall value of the game, if u dont have too much time to play games, this game would work fine with its idle aspect. if u enjoy the roguelike shooter type (or whatever the genre of holocure was), then this is a pretty decent experience aside from the idle&gacha roadblocks during main story progression. if you just wanna goon on qooapp game then this is a great choice for the amount of free pulls the game gives to get whoever you want to get as well as enough free premium currency to choose one of whichever skin of the character you want to goon to (as of writing this which seems to be half anniversary(?) of the game).
Make no mistake, u are here for the PEAK content and if u have any other expectation i advice u to not install the game, go play pokemon or something.
If u "play" with both hands read the above once again.
At first glance the only thing this game and HTRAH have in common is both being a gooner game (this one goes harder)
but if u've played any of them for a few days u will realize that is not the case.
Sonehow this repeats the same mistakes HTRAH does starting from/but not limited to: any of the language being consistent across the game, UI forgeting how to UI in many aspects, typos ranging from funny to outright misinformation, text cliping thru UI elements or other text making very hard to decipher unless u change UI language or manipulate it on PC.
With all that being said 10/10 gooner game, this goes sooo hard it makes me wonder how is it on this platform in the first place.
PEAK CINEMA/10
The game is quite good for a gooner game, there are segs imitation scenes (not actual ones since the act of showing genitals are forbidden on these ero games ofc, though if you take example of games on nutaku they are allowed to do that because their games are tagged as adult)
The animation part of this game is better than I expected, thought its going to be some AI slop but no, actual artists are involved, thankfully.
Voices and audio related feature are decent, all scenes have the unique audio, more than what I expected
I skipped storyline because I am only here to goon
All in all, it's best to just goon and ignore other peoplr comments.
Overall Ok game.
Big minus are the many bugs. Eberytime there is an update, things are improved but sadly others are bugged again. Like for now, no stories are playable which weird.
I don't know if it is my internet connection, but I receive a lot of times the message of lost connection.
Game play is pretty much always the same. No combat variation as thr main squad, plus point for original different boss gimmicks and play styles
The sound is ok but could be more variation. Not original and not really tracks that can get stuck in your head.
The graphics are to my liking, but everyone is judge on that part. I read that some pictures were bugged, but I did not observe that.
Overall value, if you can see through the issues, you can enjoy and have a good time.
It looks like it wants to be Blue Archive, but with character art that looks like it was generated and with translation to English so rushed most of the buttons are saying random numbers so you don't know what to click. I know full well it's a beta (and a closed one to boot), but at the same time many other games, from what I've gathered at least, have closed betas thst are leagues better and they were for games of Genshin Impact sort, not some small mobile game with 2D art. Also, before the logo it shows me what's supposed to be shown after the server selection screen, but with garbled graphics which results in a monstrosity of some kind... great stuff.
The later version of "Girls' Love Dance" was better, even though some parts were still left untranslated or were poorly translated. But overall it provided a much smoother experience when compared to the abysmal beta test a year ago.
The only thing i feel needs work is the storyline. Its clear that the main focus isn't the story. Theres not much of a plot and the storyline is very linear. I also saw some scenes or backgrounds that were AI generated (i assume). I saw some distortion in some of the sotryline backgrounds. For example, the arcade scene. The ceiling doesn't match what you'd see in an arcade and some of the machines look somewhat broken or looks incomplete. The stuffed bear in the machine also has an uncanny and distorted face.
I think you can get lots of value from this game but i say the storyline is lacking.
I mean, it's just gooner slop, it's not great for gameplay, it's just about taking money from gooners for skins and so, which is short term profit.
therse's nothing incredible or memorable about pretty much any aspect of the game, all the skins are stuff seem behind huge grinds, so it's essentially just falls under predatory short term profits, I will say they at least put some effort in character design, but even that's not really remarkable. it's truly just gonna be a game for gooner whales that eventually shuts down quickly because nobody stayed for long term
